BBC Children in Need
To deliver an annual red carpet fundraiser event, catering to up to 1,200 guests, full press contingency and several entertainment acts.
2011 marked the beginning of a very exciting event and every year since it’s been our favourite. It’s a high profile, glamorous, exclusive, dramatic, celebrity filled, entertainment packed, spectacular event (with food designed and created by Michelin starred Angela Harnett) and of course it raises money for a wonderful charity.
Over the years, guests have included:
Sir Terry Wogan, Lady Helen Wogan, Alesah Dixon, Rob Brydon, Jon Culshaw, Scouting for Girls, Tom Chaplin (Keane), Toploader, Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, Nik Kershaw, Kara Tointon, Phil Tuffnell, Victoria Pendleton, Mark Ramprakash, Martin Bayfield, Brendan Cole, Darren Bennett, Lilia Kopylova, Darren Bennett, James and Ola Jordan, Gareth Malone’s All Star Choir, The Jack Pack and – of course! – Pudsey the Bear.
Finding a unique central venue for 1,000 is no easy task, when you’re doing it year after year…
Filling 1,000 seats is equally tough – our sales team took on the challenge of selling the tickets, supporting the charities goal…
Sourcing incredible acts!
Each year, we scour London to find venues with enough floor space, AV capabilities, near-by accommodation and press areas
Our Account Management and Sales team incorporated this event into their daily tasks, in order to make sure this event sold out!
As a talent agency, we are very lucky to have celebrity connections. Incredible hosts (Alesha Dixon, Rob Brydon, Jon Culshaw and the legendary Sir Terry Wogan) also gave up their time to support the BBC and this incredibly worthy event.
Over the years An Evening With The Stars has graced the doorways of several high profile London venues, including The Grosvenor Hotel, Battersea Evolution & Westminster’s Park Plaza.
