Lewis Moody RWC Update

Lewis Moody’s Rugby Update

It will have been a tough week for England and much has been made of the various decisions that were made on the pitch.

For all the speculation and debate from various corners of the media and former players on the rights and wrongs,
there is only one group who are on the ground trying to fix the issues from that Welsh match and more importantly that have the opportunity to change it.

Those players need our support not our ridicule. They will now have had an honest discussion over the mistakes made and that Welsh game is now consigned to history and their only focus is on beating Australia.

There should and I’m sure will be some changes made to the team this weekend, I imagine George Ford, Owen Farrell and Sam Burgess may well be a possible starting midfield.

If Ben Youngs is indeed injured then this is a great opportunity for a hungry Danny Care to play who in my opinion should have been included on the bench in place of Wigglesworth for the last two games.

Morgan will replace an injured Vunipola I’m sure, and in my opinion Joe Launchbury should be given a start.
England still have the opportunity to do well in this group. But it will take all of their focus, guile and commitment to beat a very good Australian team, who on their day like England can beat anyone.
