Jacquie Beltrao has a unique role on Sky News Sunrise. Besides presenting the Sports bulletin she is also involved in most other parts of the programme – whether it’s a discussion about Brexit, Marks and Spencer’s quarterly results or the Education system.
Jacquie has worked on this flagship show for Sky News for +16 years, surviving many changes of presenter and including 10 years with Eamonn. Paragon are the official agent of Jacquie Beltrao.
As well as her studio work, Jacquie has been the Wimbledon correspondent for both Sky News and Sky Sports for over a decade and enjoys a good rapport with all the top players including Andy Murray, Rafa Nadal and Serena Williams. It took many years to persuade Serena to do an exclusive interview with Sky but after much persistence Jacquie landed two in 2016.
As a former Olympic Rhythmic Gymnast she was thrilled to be Sky News’ main anchor at Olympic Park for the 2012 London Olympics – interviewing pretty much all the Brit Gold medal winners the morning after their victories – Sir Chris Hoy, Laura Trott, Jason Kenny, the gymnasts Alistair and Johnny Brownlee etc…
Her first job at Sky Sports was as a roving sports reporter, mainly boxing & football.
Why Book Jacquie?
After coming through breast cancer in 2013/14 Jacquie has been working hard with several selected charities to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.
She is an ambassador for Future Dreams. As part of her work for this charity, she is a model for the Melissa Odabash collection designed for those who’ve gone through surgery, been the host for the recent Fight Night – a blue-collar boxing event that raised over £800,000 for the charity. This involved opening the event with a short speech interviewing the commentators Johnny Nelson and Adam Smith, introducing the boxers and interviewing them right after their fight and closing the event. She hosted the Ladies Lunch at the Dorchester speaking at the start and introducing the guests and explaining the auction items. And on behalf of the charity gave an inspirational speech to the beauty industry – her survival story and how to move on.
As an ambassador for Macmillan Cancer Charity Jacquie was the guest speaker at the Travel Industry Christmas lunch and similarly at the Cosmetic Industry awards on behalf of Look Good Feel Better – the charity founded by Estee Lauder.
She was also the presenter of the Eve’s Watch awards in the Shard in 2016 – an awards ceremony for luxury watches.
Jacquie was the interviewer for the Annodata National Sales Conference at Brooklands. She was contacted by the Annodata marketing team after they saw her hosting a fundraising night for young Olympic athletes at the O2. This involved preparing and delivering a 50 minute Q & A session with three Olympic medal winners from Team GB Rio 2016, at the same time linking their stories and qualities to challenges faced by a sales force.
Jacquie has three children Amelia, Tiago and Jorge plus two beloved rescue dogs Maddie and Teddy (Jacquie is an ambassador for The Dogs Trust).
